Herndon ghosts, goblins, princesses and pirates celebrated Halloween early at the Herndon Community Center's Spooktacular event last week.
Children of all ages and their parents were able to participate in everything from holding snakes to pin the mouth on the jack-o-lantern, as well as watch "Wes the Magician" perform his magic show.
The event went from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and gave children the chance to have a safe Halloween experience as well as stay warm while participating in Halloween events.
