Burke United Methodist Church, St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church and Burke Presbyterian Church join in sponsoring “Finding Home – A Spa for the Soul,” a mini-retreat based on Henri Nouwen’s book, "The Return of the Prodigal Son." Music Recital. Lynn Adcock, soprano, William Adcock, trumpet, and Tom Pandolfi, piano, present a recital on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Burke United Methodist Church, 6200 Burke Centre Parkway, Burke. A Divorce Recovery Workshop takes place on Wednesdays through Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m., at Messiah United Methodist Church. Mosaic Harmony performs African-American Gospel music on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., at Grace Presbyterian Church. They are joined by Grace's Chancel Choir, and the show benefits the Medical Benevolence Foundation's community based program for African children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
