Clark Pinnacle Family Communities LLC, which works to build family housing at Fort Belvoir, held its First Annual Charity Golf Classic at the Fort Belvoir Golf Club on Sept. 29. More than 90 golfers participated in the four-person scramble, including representatives from Clark Pinnacle, the Army Residential Communities Initiative office, and the many consulting and subcontracting firms working on the privatization efforts at Fort Belvoir.  At the awards ceremony and dinner, Clark Pinnacle presented two checks for $21,950 each to the Fort Belvoir Girl Scouts and Fort Belvoir Boy Scouts.

The Alexandria/Old Town Office of Weichert, Realtors was recognized with a regional award for the month of September. The office led the Virginia region in recording the highest Weichert Family of Companies dollar volume, achieved by helping their clients take advantage of the Gold Services Program. The Gold Services Program is an innovative concept that not only streamlines the mortgage process, but also provides homeownership solutions for a wide array of services encompassing Title Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Home Protection Plan, and Weichert Home Connections services. The branch finished first out of 30 Weichert offices located throughout Virginia to earn the award.

Valerie Huffman, regional vice president of Weichert, Realtors and instructor of its Management Awareness Program (MAP), announced that several sales associates have graduated from the program this month. MAP is a seven-month course that provides a structured first look at management for Weichert agents who are considering a career in real estate management.
