Fair Oaks Skin Care Center

When the Fair Oaks Skin Care Center opened its doors in 1994, it served a total of 20 patients, today, it is providing services to more than 10,000 patients.

Located in the Fairfax INOVA medical office building, 3700 Joseph Siewick Dr. Suite 403, the center offers the most high-tech, up-to-date medical services available. It specializes in treating acne, wrinkles, and aging spots.

"Our goal is to provide the most current and up-to-date methods of enhancing and beautifying the skin health of every patient that visits our office," said Dr. Brenda Dintiman.

The center also offers basic dermatology services, treating patients with dry skin, rashes and irritations, as well as providing advice on how to cure and prevent them. "People always come back because we provide them with the best service possible," said Dr. Brenda Dintiman.

Dintiman and Dr. Reem Kaiser-Tadros are both certified medical doctors. Receiving their degrees from the Medical College of Virginia, both doctors specialize in skin care and the treatment of skin problems. Dr. Dintiman has twice been selected to Washingtonian Magazine's list of top 100 doctors. The clinic's aesthetician, Tiffany Fegley, received her degree from the Yvonne de Villar Academy and is trained in microdermabrasion and superficial chemical peels.

A patient's first consultation usually consists of the doctors sitting down with them and discussing goals and desires for skin care. The doctors will then try to discover the best possible solution in regards to each patient's specific needs.

The staff at the Fair Oaks Skin Care Center knows each patient by name and seeks to give every person that walks through the door a true spa-like experience.

"We want our clients to be comfortable. We try to give them a medical spa experience," said Christ Babis, the center's office manager.

The staff makes it a point to have a relationship with each patient they work with. "It is not only our job to provide expert medical treatment, but we are also here to help our patients in any way possible," said Dr. Kaiser-Tadros.

The goal of the Fair Oaks Skin Care Center is to help improve the beauty and esteem of each person that visits the center. "Appearance is very important, especially for our teen clients. We want them to be happy with the way they look; when they look better, they feel better," said Dr. Kaiser-Tadros.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the center has planned an Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The event will include demonstrations of the latest laser procedures and give visitors the opportunity to ask questions about the doctors and the equipment. Along with demonstrations, the center's staff will also be giving away free samples of the latest skin care products and teaching the proper way to use them.
