<lst>Cadet Siobhan Holmes was one of 28 cadets at Massanutten Military Academy who received Student of Excellence Awards. Holmes received awards for Leadership Education Training 3 and Earth Science. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Holmes of McLean. Student of Excellence Awards are given in each subject taught at Massanutten and represent the highest grade in that particular class as recommended by the teacher.
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class John R. Mills-Hearne has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Gregory and Sheila Hearne of Baker Crest Court, McLean.
