The second annual Greater Dulles Area Student Job Fair will take place Wednesday, April 20, from 2:45-6:30 p.m., at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly. Nearly 500 students seeking summer, part-time, full-time work or internships are expected to participate this year. Some schools plan on transporting students to this event. This entry-level job fair is organized by the Education Committee of the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by FGM Inc. and Northern Virginia Tech Prep. Center/NVCC. Among the members of the committee are career center specialists from several high schools in Fairfax County as well as Northern Virginia Community College.

Angela’s Happy Stamper offers free Learn at Lunch programs every Tuesday from 12–2 p.m., free make and take opportunities and many new classes. Currently, Happy Stamper customers are creating and donating all kinds of stationery for the charity, Support Our Troops. In Iraq, stationery is in short supply for those wishing to send mail home.
Fairfax County Government is seeking a partner to design and construct a mixed-use, transit-oriented development on county-owned real property to complement the future Wiehle Avenue Metrorail Station. The county owns a 9-acre site immediately adjacent to the planned station, which in conjunction with development on adjacent parcels — now privately owned — offers an opportunity for a coordinated public-private development. Grumman’s Mission Systems sector, attained an organization-wide CMMI-SE/SW Level 5 maturity rating against the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) standard.
The Mission Systems sector now has 12 and Northrop Grumman has 17 CMMI Level 5 ratings, the most earned by any defense or commercial company to date. The ratings assure Northrop Grumman customers that the company is providing improved quality, greater productivity and predictable program performance.
Northrop Grumman's latest rating was awarded after a
comprehensive assessment of its Landover, Md., facility. Comskil, Inc., an independent external organization, conducted the appraisal in accordance with the formal Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) methodology.

Ballroom Dance Studio is moving from Sterling Plaza Shopping Center in Sterling to the 251 Sunset Business Park at the intersection of Sunset Hills/Spring Street and Fairfax County Parkway in Herndon on April 4. New classes and activities will start during the week of March 14.
After being at its Sterling location for the past six years and at other local locations for a total of 18 years, Dance With Me! will settle in with new programs such as lunch-time, drop-in classes and after-work classes.
