<sh>Man Charged with Unlawful Entry

<bt>A Vienna-area man has been charged in conjunction with what police say was an unlawful entry on Thursday, April 14.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Humberto Vivas, 59, of the 2500 block of Chain Bridge Road, entered a house on the 2600 block of Glengyle Drive, according to a Fairfax County Police report. Police say that Vivas was intoxicated at the time. A female resident of the Glengyle Drive house allegedly saw Vivas and screamed, alerting her husband. “He was in the act of walking up the stairs when she saw him,” said Officer Richard Henry of the Fairfax County Police.

Police say Vivas climbed the stairs and fell asleep in the same bed as the couple's 3-year-old daughter. The victim struggled with Vivas and tried to get him to leave the house.

Police arrived and arrested Vivas, charging him with unlawful entry and drunk in public. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held on a $1,000 bond.
