HCA Virginia and the Washington Redskins announced the formation of a new partnership Monday, May 23. HCA and the Washington Redskins have signed an agreement naming HCA Virginia as "The official hospital provider of the Washington Redskins."

The combined health-care expertise and technology of HCA's 14 Virginia hospital campuses and four surgery centers, together with Reston Hospital Center's proximity to Redskins Park, make HCA Virginia suited to support the efforts of the Redskins players, trainers, and staff.

In addition to being the official hospital provider of the Washington Redskins, the new partnership will focus on promoting health and wellness through a variety of joint initiatives throughout the commonwealth.

HCA is the fourth largest private employer in the commonwealth, employing more than 12,500 Virginians. In Northern Virginia, HCA operates Reston Hospital Center, Reston Surgery Center, Northern Virginia Community Hospital, Dominion Hospital and Fairfax Surgery Center. Additionally, HCA is pursuing Loudoun County approval to build 164-bed Broadlands Regional Medical Center in Ashburn.
