Sarah Rich recently performed in Earlham College's Family Weekend Concert, as a member of the Orchestra, which performed Rossini's "Overture to the Barber of Seville" and Leonard Bernstein's "Overture to Candide." Rich, a junior, is the daughter of Shirley and Jerry Rich of Fairfax.
Jason Miller of Fairfax, a sophomore in business administration at Kansas State University, was on a team of ROTC cadets that recently placed fourth in the Cadet Command 11th Brigade Ranger Challenge, a military skills and leadership competition.
