Seniors: Keep Dance Card Open

Seniors are invited to attend the 5th Annual Dance for All Ages, to be held on Friday, March 11, from 7-9 p.m. at T.C. Williams High School at 3300 King St. in Alexandria.

Known as "Alexandria's Swing Dance & Social for Seniors 55 and Older," there will be more than just swing dance. Put on your dancing shoes and dance to songs from the past, join the T.C. Williams students as they dance to today's music, and everyone can join in for some down home dancing with the Country Steppers. Bring your appetite as well, as there will be food and drink.

The dance is hosted by the T.C. Williams High School Student Association and the Alexandria Senior Recreation Advisory Committee.

There is not cost for this event, but reservations would be appreciated; call 703-838-4831 by March 4.

Escorts will be available to the parking area following the dance so leave your worries at home, but don't forget your dance card, dancing shoes and appetite. Party attire is suggested.

For more information on the dance or other recreation programs for seniors, please call 703-838-4831.
