Three Men Sought in Homicide

Police are searching for three Reston men wanted in the murder of Jose Efrain Guzman, 47, of Sterling.

Authorities say Guzman met the trio for the first time at a Sterling bar Sunday night, Feb. 6, and he was found slain the following morning in Haymarket. He died of blunt force trauma, but 1st Sgt. Kim D. Chinn would not disclose whether a weapon, an object or fists were used in the killing.

The Prince William County Police Department has obtained arrest warrants for Rigoberto Otero Aguilar, Eberto DeJesus Uolla, and Roger Alexander Mendez Lopez, all of 11587 North Shore Drive, Reston. Aguilar is 25 years old; police did not have the age of the other assailants.

Detectives have obtained a video of the suspects attempting to use the victim's credit card at several locations. Chin said police do not know if robbery was a motive.

All three are wanted for first degree murder, which carries a penalty of 20 years in prison.

Law enforcement authorities expressed concern they might attempt to flee the country to Honduras.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince William County Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous, and could receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
