The City of Fairfax kicked off its bicentennial year with a New Year's Eve event last Saturday. Activities designed to appeal to all ages, including inflatable obstacle courses for the children and comedy shows for the adults, took place across downtown, culminating with the start of the Rotary Clock and a laser light show at midnight.
