Department of the Army civilian James M. Campbell has been promoted to the rank of General Schedule 09. Campbell is a human resources specialist assigned at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. He is the son of Charlie Campbell of Arlington. In 1974, Campbell graduated from Wakefield High School.
The Arlington County Board unanimously elected Jay Fisette chairman and Chris Zimmerman vice chairman for 2005. Fissette has been a member of the Arlington County Board since 1997 and previously served as chairman in 2001. In 2004, he was vice chairman of the Board.
Jacqueline Jules of N. Dinwiddie Street, Arlington, will be releasing her fourth children's picture book, "Noah and the Ziz." The book is an extension of the bible story. Jules is a local elementary school librarian and poet who has lived in Arlington for 10 years.
