Achievements: Teacher for 16 years; professional actor for 10 years; two-time Yorktown Teacher of the Year, 2000 and 2002; three-times recognized Who's Who of America's Best Teachers; 14 Virginia Governor's School Presidential Citations for Outstanding Educator.
Family: Two children: Nicholas, age 5; Ariel, age 8.
Neighborhood: Fairlington.
Years in the Community: 12 years.
What do you like about your community?: The residential environment and the family-friendly activities.
What do you dislike?: Price of housing and the cost of living.
Community Concerns: The land-locked nature of Arlington and lack of room to grow, the overcrowding of schools.
Favorite local restaurant/place: Carlyle Grand.
