Galilee United Methodist Church will be offering a Performing Arts Day Camp for rising second-sixth graders, July 25-29, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The final performance will be 7 p.m. Friday evening. Directed by The Leavening Agency, a Christian organization specializing in creative children's programming in churches and schools. There are no auditions and every participant is encouraged to choose what he or she wants to do: music: singing, hand chimes and rhythm instruments; performance skills: drama and acting; choreography: movement and sign language; stagecraft: scenery painting. The dates and times will be the following July 11-15, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon, for 3 years old-fifth graders, (3 years old by Sept. 30.) The main bible point is "Where Kids are Wild About God."
