<lst>St. John's Episcopal Church is hosting "Presence — Glimpses of the Spirit," an exhibition of art work by St. John's artists Ginny Runge, Lori Weseman and Gail Rezendez through June 23. "Strictly Painting 5," the McLean Project for the Arts' biennial juried exhibition, features mid-Atlantic artists working with paint or paint in combination with other materials, and runs through July 30. The opening reception and jurors' remarks are Thursday, June 23 from 7-9 p.m. The exhibition is curated by Jonathan P. Binstock, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. MMPA is located on the upper level of the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday 1-5 p.m. Call MMPA at 703-790-1953, or call the Community Center at 703-790-0123.

Art Classes. The Great Falls Art Center provides weekly classes in drawing, oil painting, pottery, sculpture and art history for children over 6, teenagers, adults and seniors at its Walker Road studio in Great Falls.
