The Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading Program is seeking football and cheerleading coaches for ages 7 —16. No Experience necessary. Must be 18 years old or older. Email forthunt_commissioner@yahoo.com or call 703-921-1640.

The Fort Hunt Football and Cheerleading/Dance Camps will be held July 18 —22 and 25 — 29 at Carl Sandburg Middle School. The cost of the camp is $70/ per session or $120 for both sessions. The Green Spring Gardens Park Library, located on 4603 Green Spring Road, will be undergoing renovation work from mid-May until mid-October. The library will be renovated to include instructional space and additional book storage. The library will be closed during renovation, but the park’s visitor center will remain open and classes will take place as scheduled. United Community Ministries' Critical Need is asking for donations in the form of milk, butter and eggs, tomato sauce, rice, beans, cereals, dry milk, infant formula-Enfamil with Iron, tuna, tools, car seats, flatware, arts and crafts supplies, vacuum cleaners, and laptops. United Community Ministries' is located at 7511 Fordson Road. 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. UCM can schedule pickups for donations of food by churches or other organizations.
