Inspectors will make sure your carseats are set for your child’s age and height, inspect the safety of your child's placement and verify that each seat is properly installed in your vehicle.
Residents should install the child safety seats themselves, so the technicians may properly inspect and make adjustments, as needed. <cal2>The Fairfax County Animal Shelter will host its first animal care workshop on the pros and cons of house rabbits, housing, feeding, vet care and enrichment at 4500 West Ox Road on Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m. Registration is required by Friday, June 24. "So, You Think You Want a Rabbit: The Things Bunny Parents Should Know," will be a two-hour, basic workshop on rabbits as house pets for prospective and new bunny owners. The workshop will be taught by Mary O'Malley, the lead volunteer for small animals at the shelter who has worked with over 100 rabbits in her capacity as a rabbit owner, foster parent and volunteer. Adoptable rabbits, including a mother and six babies, will serve as models for the class. CRAG is offering space to local businesses and artists to list their names and contact information in return for donations. Participants of the newest Mosby Heritage Area Association’s program, Impact of War, will be lead on tours that focus on the Civil War in the areas of Aldie and Atoka, along the Little River Turnpike.
