Local Cub Scout Pack 159, based at Fox Mill Elementary School, received a certificate of appreciation this week from the Red Cross for their fundraising efforts to help victims of the tsunami and local people in need. In coordination with Giant Food soon after the tsunami occurred, Pack 159 set up a collection effort outside of the Fox Mill Giant Food grocery store to raise funds, gathering $1,312.75 in five hours.
