English Classes. The ESL and Immigrant Ministries Program welcomes adult foreign nationals from all countries to English classes. The Society of American Mosaic Artists Juried Show at the Ellipse Arts Center, 4350 N. Fairfax Drive, runs through June 4. The 2005 Miss Virginia American Coed Scholarship State Pageant is looking for contestants for the Aug. 11-14 pageant in Richmond, Va. This is an "All Natural" scholarship pageant for girls ages 3-22. The emphasis is on the academic and volunteerism. Makeup is not allowed on contestants under the age of 13. “Desperate Housewives” Viewing Parties will be given at La Tasca Clarendon, 2900 Wilson Blvd., on Sundays, from 7-11 p.m. The event is being presented by Z104 Radio.
