Herndon residents filled the Dulles Park Shopping Center parking lot to celebrate and learn more about assistance organizations during the town's Community Day Festival and Housing Fair.
The event provided everything from bean bag tosses and an entertainment stage, to booths full of housing information and health related issues.
Residents of all ages came out to participate, although more children were seen running from booth to booth, trying to win prizes or snag free goodies.
The event, which ran from noon to 4 p.m., was run in conjunction with the Neighborhood Resource Center.
