BMW's Ninth Annual Ultimate Drive Program for the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation will make a stop at BMW of Sterling, 21826 Pacific Blvd., Sterling, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, May 28. The general public is invited to drive the fleet of BMWs at participating retail centers, for each mile driven in one of the Ultimate Drive vehicles, which are painted a titanium silver with a pink ribbon, $1 is donated to the Koman Foundation to support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs. In conjunction with National Hunger Awareness Day, Harris Teeter is planning a celebration to open its new Ashbrook location, 20070 Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Ashburn, on Wednesday, June 1, by making Loudoun Interfaith Relief Inc. a beneficiary of its food rescue program. The grocery store is also donating $10,000 from the proceeds of its annual golf tournament held in Charlotte, N.C., to Loudoun Interfaith Relief, a nonprofit food pantry located in Leesburg.

William Green, president of the Washington Air Cargo Association, announces that the group had donated a check for $3,000 to ChildrenÕs Hospital, Washington, D.C. The donation was made at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course May 10, where WACA held its annual golf tournament at which 84 members played in order to raise money for worthy charities and organizations such as ChildrenÕs Hospital. The WACA had given more than $20,000 to ChildrenÕs over the last few years. Washington Air Cargo AssociationÕs total charity contributions for this year alone totaled $10,000, including the Tsunami Relief Fund.

The Washington Air Cargo Association is a nonprofit professional organization of air cargo professionals in the D.C.-metropolitan area whose primary area of interest is Dulles International Airport.

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd., headquartered in Chantilly, was named to Engineering News-Record Magazine's

list of the nation's top-500 design firms. This is the second-consecutive year that Bowman has been honored. Companies were ranked according to their revenue for design services performed in 2004. This year Bowman ranked 324th after ranking 352nd last year.
