Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8469 conducted a Memorial Day ceremony honoring Fairfax’s war veterans. The memorial, on the lawn of the Old Court House on Chain Bridge Road, included members of the post reading the names of Fairfax residents who have died in battle, beginning with World War I. The names are also inscribed on the memorial stone on the Old Court House lawn.
