<cal1>Larceny

<lst>11800 block Baron Cameron Avenue. Gasoline stolen from service station.

11400 block Cypress Point Court. Clothes stolen from residence.

2300 block Hunter Woods Plaza. Phone charger and video games stolen from person at business.

12200 block Laurel Glade Court. Jewelry stolen from residence.

10500 block Leesburg Pike. Beer stolen from business.

11100 block South Lakes Drive. Gasoline stolen from service station.

11700 block Sunset Hills Road. Beer stolen from business.

1800 block Town Center Drive. Football tickets stolen from business.

<cal1>Robbery

<lst>11900 block Democracy Drive. A bank was robbed in the Reston area. On Friday, Oct. 21 around 9:44 a.m., police were called to a robbery at the Merchantile Bank located at 11932 Democracy Drive. A man entered the bank and displayed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. The teller gave the robber cash and then retreated with the bank manager to a back room. Due to the fact that it could not be determined if the robber had left the bank, members of the Fairfax County Police Tactical Team were the first to enter the bank. The robber had fled prior to police arrival. Other than the two employees, there was no one else in the bank and there were no injuries.

The suspect was described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall with a large build. He was wearing gray, white long sleeve turtleneck shirt, a black ski mask and sunglasses.
