Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia, located at 10383 Democracy Lane in Fairfax, features "Embodied Living: Sexuality and Spirituality," Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Led by Rev. Dr. Justin Tanis, author of "Transgendered Ministry, Theology and Communities of Faith," this day will be ethically-based, sex-positive and body-affirming. Burke United Methodist Church hosts a 75th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event features an antique car show, craft fair, historic displays, bake sale, children's activities, music and a complimentary lunch. The Women's Ministries of Jubilee Christian Center presents an 8-week Fall Women's Bible Study, using the book, "Believing God" by Beth Moore. The Church of the Nativity's Fall Festival is Sunday, Sept. 25, from 3-7 p.m. at 6400 Nativity Lane in Burke.
