The Fairfax Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosts an open house on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The event includes activities for children, ideas for building family unity and teaching children values as well as a sitting for a free family photo delivered to you both as a 5x7 print and on a CD. The Church of the Nativity's Fall Festival is Sunday, Sept. 25, from 3-7 p.m. at 6400 Nativity Lane in Burke.
