Students at Fort Hunt Elementary School got a special treat last Friday when members of the 12th Aviation Battalion from Fort Belvoir came by for a visit. They landed on the field in their Black Hawk helicopter and spent the morning visiting with students from different classes.
On hand for the visit were CW2 Armando S. Torres, CW2 Mark B. Jamboe and Sgt. Eric Kriigel.
Students enjoyed sitting inside the vehicle, trying on the helmets, buckling up — and just getting a little break from the regular school day.
