The following students of Springfield were named to the dean's list at the College of William and Mary for the spring 2005 semester: John Robert Adams, Owen Andrew Beste, Kristin Ashlee Boos, Christopher Scot Chipman, Jennifer Diane Clark, Jesse David DelGizzi, Sean Edward Gillick, Natalia Ivanovna Golub, Ethan Joseph Greenblatt, Massiha Habibi, Nicholas John Hagen, Kristin Evelyn Harris, Armando Sarmiento Herradura, Thuy-Van Tina Ho, Khoa Dinh Luong, Katharine Mary McLaughlin, Darcy Leanne Newsome, Kevin Alan Park, Lauretta Carrolan Prevost, Melissa Kathleen Reilly, Coury Ann Shadyac, Matthew Robert Sherrill, Allison June Shonerd, Rebecca Kathleen Silverstein, Peter John Thaxter, Susan Elizabeth Thornton, Kendall Eugene Wangsgard, Cara Nichole Wilder and Melissa Jane Zoller.

To qualify, students must take at least 12 credit hours and maintain a 3.6 Quality Point Average.

Rebecca Weiner of Springfield was named to Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts dean's list for the spring 2005 semester. To qualify, students must achieve at lest a 3.4 grade-point average during the semester. Weiner is a senior majoring in musical theater.

Lauren E. Cerce recently graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Valley Forge Christian College. Cerce, a 2001 graduate of Hayfield Secondary School, was named to the dean's list all four years she was at VFCC.

Laura Hartley was named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester at Old Dominion University. Hartley, an international communications major, is the daughter of Donald and Sandra Hartley of Springfield.
