Patrick "Red" McCabe, a Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associate in the Leesburg office, was named Rookie of the Year during the company's annual awards ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Tysons Corner, March 30.
The Rookie of the Year Award is awarded based on the highest Gross Commission Income (GCI). In order to be eligible for the Rookie of the Year Award, a residential sale associate should have completed his first year in the real-estate business in 2005 and have exceeded the company's average GCI for rookie sale associates. McCabe also earned Coldwell Banker's International President's Circle membership for 2006.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, McCabe held top honors by selling commercial aircraft for BAE Systems, and honed his financial management skills working on Wall Street. He was also president of Learning Tree International USA, where he managed approximately 600 employees and contractors serving clients in 15 education centers. McCabe holds his MBA from George Washington University, and is licensed in Virginia and West Virginia.
A 45-year resident of the Washington, D.C.,-metro area, McCabe is married and has three children.
