The Health Department will be providing the new vaccine, Boostrix, now required for rising sixth-graders, along with other required immunizations to students in kindergarten-12th grade, from 9 a.m.-noon, every Saturday in August, at the Shenandoah Building clinic, 102 Heritage Way, N.E., Leesburg. Students must bring a current immunization record and be accompanied by a parent or adult 18 years or older. The Loudoun County CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder) parents support group will meet the second Tuesday of every month, from 7:15-8:30 p.m. SuccessLab Learning Centers is hosting the meetings and providing refreshments.
