<sh>Man Robbed in Merrifield Area

<bt>A 31-year-old Falls Church-area man was robbed Sunday evening, July 30, as he attempted to lock the doors of his vehicle. Around 11:25 p.m., the man walked to his vehicle, which was parked in the 8100 block of Heatherton Lane in the Merrifield area. As he locked the doors he was approached by a man from the tree line. The suspect grabbed the victim and forced him to the ground with a knife. A second suspect approached with a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied but was struck in the upper body, causing a laceration. Both suspects were last seen running north into the tree line. The victim was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital and treated for his non life-threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as black men, approximately 20-years-old. They were about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. They were both wearing black hooded-sweatshirts.

<sh>Man Arrested for Exposure

<bt>A 43-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure. On Saturday, July 29 around 5 p.m. a police officer in plain clothes was in a men’s restroom at Tyson’s Corner Center located at 1961 Chain Bridge Road. The officer observed a man exposing himself while looking at a juvenile. The boy ran out of the restroom. The officer approached the suspect and identified himself. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Santos David Aguilar Gonzales, 43, of Georgetown Pike in McLean was charged with 2 counts of indecent exposure.

<sh>Two Robbed in Tysons Area

<bt>Two women were standing in a parking lot in the 8200 block of Greensboro Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 1 around 10 p.m. They were approached by two men with handguns. The men robbed the women of a purse and cash. The victims, 24 and 31, were not injured. The men fled on foot toward West Park Drive.

Both suspects were described as black men in their 20s. The first suspect was approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He wore a black T-shirt and jeans. The second suspect was approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He wore a long black T-shirt and shorts.
