Wesley United Methodist Preschool, 711 Spring St., S.E., is accepting registrations for 2006-07. Children born before Oct. 1, 2002 are eligible to enroll in the afternoon program, which meets from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Robinson Secondary School will host a county-wide TheatreSports competition on Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Russell Theater. TheatreSports is a team-based improvisation competition. High school teams from around the county will be participating in this free-style format. Teams are told what "challenge" or event they will be competing in and any other information they will need to complete their act literally seconds before they perform. All teams participate in the first rounds, and the top teams come back after intermission to compete in the final rounds. It is the comedy show that is a sport. Cost is $5. Club Phoenix Teen Center. Vienna Community Center features a big screen TV, jukebox and CD player, Dreamcast, pool and ping pong tables and more for Vienna-area middle-school students. The free after-school program will begin again Sept. 5 and will operate weekdays from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Get help with homework or enjoy cooking classes, book clubs, and sports and fitness activities.
