Blair Deckard, daughter of Cliff and Susan Deckard of Oakton, is studying with the Institute for the International Education of Students in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Deckard, a 2003 graduate of James Madison High School, is a junior international studies and economics double major at Denison University.
Paisley Callow, a 2001 James Madison High School valedictorian, graduated magna cum laude from UCLA's School of Arts and Architecture in December. Paisley, a studio art major, was further honored by having her senior video, "Just A Girl Under Sharia Law," selected to premiere at the High Falls Film Festival in New York last month.
Cadet Francis (Frank) T. Brown III was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Brown, a human geography major, is the son of Tom and Barbara Brown of Vienna. He is a 2001 graduate of George C. Marshall High School.

Fiore, a sophomore from Vienna, is majoring in mechanical engineering. Cadet Fiore's parents are Mr. and Mrs. William A. Fiore. Jonathan J. Kim, a sophomore from Vienna, is majoring in economics and business. Cadet Kim's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ui Sik Kim. Daniel R. Rogers, senior from Vienna, is majoring in mechanical engineering. Cadet Rogers's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mark W. Rogers.
Michelle Rae Moore of Vienna is an undergraduate who achieved first honors at Georgetown University. Only 495 students were recognised with honors out of the 6,700 presently studying at Georgetown.
