Chelsea Kirin Batavia and Sana Christina Malouf, of McLean, achieved first honors for academic accomplishments at Georgetown University. Students receiving first honors earned a grade point average of 3.9 or better on a 4.0 scale.

Second honors were achieved by the following McLean students at Georgetown University: Kathryn Collier House, Miriam Jennifer Droller, Tarick Aly Gamay, Dania Layla Ayobi, Christine Lynn Steele, Jennifer ReedDoran Klein, Michelle Leila Sidawy, Kevin Girard Bender, Kathleen McIntyre Jelinek.

The following McLean undergraduate students at Georgetown have been named to the dean's list:

Wynne H. Breed of McLean has been named to the dean's list at Conneticut College for the fall semester.

Cadet Michael Philip Jaeger of McLean was honored for outstanding academic achievment at the Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina for the fall semester.

Kelly Jo Stroud of Vienna, a Wake Forest University student, has been named to the university's dean's list for fall semester, 2005. Students who achieve a 3.0 or higher grade point average were named to the list. Stroud is the daughter of Debby Stroud of Vienna and Joe Stroud of McLean.

Mark J. Walters of McLean has been named to the dean's list at Beloit College for the fall semester.

John Q. Aminzay of McLean received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, from the University of Iowa at the fall commencement ceremonies in December.
