Children Quilting for Children

"We have guests today! Can anyone tell our guests what we have been doing?” Patti Turner asked the children attending Sunday School at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church last weekend. “Painting,” “Sewing,” “Making quilts for sick babies,” responded the children. All three answers were correct. The ABC Quilt Project is an annual opportunity, held each January and February at MVUC, that allows children to help make comforting quilts for babies in hospitals.
