A scoop of Cherry Garcia, fun children's clothes, tech savvy air purifiers: these are just a few of the items offered at new stores at the Reston Town Center, many of which opened just before the holidays.
Cradle & Crayon, owned and operated by Reston residents Stella Gulien and Kamran Akhtar, is a maternity wear and children’s clothing store that opened in December. It also offers gifts, children’s furnishings, daddy gear, and toys. While catering to moms and moms-to-be, children and children-yet-to-come, Cradle & Crayon also provides a place for fathers to sit back and watch the Sunday games in the "Daddy Area," with wide screen TV and lounge chairs. The store is located on Freedom Drive next to Wachovia Bank.
Brookstone, located next to Victoria’s Secret on Market Street, also arrived at Reston Town Center in late December. The store, with its motto of "hard to find tools," has an established reputation for functional and distinctive products.
Another newcomer to Reston Town Center is Busara Thai Restaurant & Lounge, located on the corner of Market and Explorer streets.
Another much anticipated store opening is coming up. Offering ice cream, shakes and more, Ben & Jerry’s is set to open in the next few weeks. The store will be located on Market Street next to Origins.
