The George Mason University Masonettes Dance Team presents its fifth annual Junior Masonettes Summer Dance Clinic for dancers entering grades three through 12. Chris Borer, Jr., a 2006 graduate of Robinson Secondary School, has been selected to receive a National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship for $3,000. He was one of three scholarship recipients chosen from the Northeast Region where he competed with 2,444 applicants. He has been accepted into the College of Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. where he will pursue a degree in computer graphics. He is the son of Chris and Cindy Borer of Fairfax and is affiliated with Nativity Catholic Church Troop 1100 in Burke.
