Maryam Iman of Vienna has recently graduated from Georgetown University. Iman earned a bachelor's degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is a graduate of George C. Marshall High School.

Varin Claire Zimmermann of Vienna has been selected by the University of Mary Washington for honors admission for the fall of 2006. Zimmermann is the daughter of Joan and Edwin Zimmermann of Vienna. She is a 2006 graduate of George C. Marshall High School. A member of the National Honor Society, Zimmermann has been named to the honor roll all four years of high school. She is also the recipient of an academic letter. She is concert master of the Advanced Orchestra and a dancer at the Northern Virginia Ballet Academy and tutors at Freedom Hill Elementary School.

Melissa Mei Ung of Vienna graduated this spring from the Johns Hopkins University. Ung is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Ung and attended Oakton High School in Vienna. She majored in international studies.

Jennifer Durm, daughter of William and Mary Durm of Vienna, and Colleen Fulco, daughter of Bruce and Judith Fulco of Vienna, were named to the dean's list for the 2006 spring semester at Lynchburg College. Durm is a 2006 graduate of the college with a B.S. in health promotion. She is also a graduate of Langley High School. Fulco is a junior nursing major at the college and a graduate of James Madison High School.

Justin John Brandt of Vienna has recenty graduated from Marian College with a bachelor of science degree.

Lindsay Kaplan, daughter of Richard Rubin and Gail Richards Rubin of Vienna, was named to the dean's list of Emory College, the undergraduate college of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., for the spring semester.

Brittany Hidges of Vienna has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. Hedges is a junior majoring in sport and exercise science.

Oakton resident John S. Evans received an M.C.J. in criminal justice and Oakton resident Asa R. Frey received a B.S. in film and television from Boston University in May.

Vienna residents Joseph R. Norman and David Y. Yi were named to the dean's list at Boston University for the spring semester.
