Peter C. Burnett of Burnett & Williams, Personal Injury Lawyers, was awarded the 2006 Virginia Super Lawyer award by the legal community and a state-wide blue ribbon panel. Super Lawyers is an annual award for outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Burnett has been practicing law in Loudoun County since 1978, and has specialized in personal injury law since 1988 when he founded Burnett & Williams. Burnett is a member of the 7th District Disciplinary Committee of the Virginia State Bar, having served as its chair in 2002. He is the former chairman of the Judicial Nominations Committee of the Virginia State Bar and served on its Special Committee on Fee Dispute Resolution. He was elected president of the Loudoun County Bar Association in 1999. Burnett is a member of several associations and civic organizations.

Tony H. Dawood, P.E., has joined the management team of Bowman Consulting's Leesburg office.

Dawood brings more than 23 years experience with the Loudoun County Sanitation Authority in water and wastewater engineering and planning. He has a B.S. in environmental engineering from Pennsylvania State University and he is a registered professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Greg Davidson, a mortgage consultant with Leesburg-based Severn Mortgage recently completed his certification requirements to receive his credentials as a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS). A CMPS is recognized as an expert in the area of mortgage planning, cash flow management and real estate equity management.
