The next home buyer education workshop sponsored by the Loudoun County Department of Social Services is Monday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 17, at the Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place in Sterling.
The county provides home buyer education workshops to assist potential first-time home buyers in understanding the home-buying process. The six-hour workshop covers a number of topics relating to home ownership, including budgeting, credit, working with Realtors, the mortgage process and what to expect at settlement.
The workshops are held several times throughout the year over a two-evening time period from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at different locations. Attendance at both sessions is required.
