Reward

The Washington Metropolitan Police Department has announced that it will give a reward of $10,000 to any information leading to an arrest in the April 19 assault on Shareese Bowen and Courtlandt Stasiewicz.

Bowen and Stasiewicz — both residents of Alexandria — were in the 2300 block of Pitts Place when they were assaulted by a group of people. They were fleeing the scene of the assault when they lost control of their vehicle in on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE, slamming into a telephone pole. Bowen, 20, and Stasiewicz, 18, died at the scene.

Anyone with information is urged to call 202-727-9099.
