BPW Dinner Meeting. Business and Professional Women of Greater Fairfax will host Dr. Irene Trowell-Harris, Maj. Gen. (Ret.), Director of the Center for Women Veterans at the Veterans Administration, speaking on “Life After the Military” at its monthly dinner meeting 6:30-9 p.m., at Tysons Corner Embassy Suites, 8517 Leesburg Pike, Vienna. RA lunch cruise. The Reston Association hosts a buffet style lunch cruise on the Spirit of Washington. Onboard entertainment and lunch. Chartered bus leaves Reston at 10:30 a.m., the cruise is from noon-2 p.m. and we will return to Reston by 3:30 p.m. $38 RA members, $44 non-members. This trip is for ages 55 years and older.
