This year's Tour de Lee bike ride, which took place Sunday, Oct. 22, featured new routes for all three rides — the 2 1/2-mile Family Ride, the 10-mile Expert Ride and the formidable 25-mile X-Ride. The trips used to begin and end at Lee District Park, but the last two tours have used Anthony Lane Elementary School, on Beulah Street, just south of Manchester Boulevard, as their base. The event is intended to promote family recreation and familiarize participants with bike-friendly routes in the Lee District.
