Sending Love from Home

Local volunteers of all ages labored in the Great Falls offices of the local non-profit organization Neighbors International Foundation, packing and wrapping 108 care packages last month for shipment to military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Neighbors International Foundation regularly assembles and mails care packages to troops stationed in the Middle East, and the Foundation relies on the help of community members. Volunteers included Jeff Rainey, Paula Michaels, Maria Alvarez-Lundie, Carrie Clark, Clyde Smith, Stephen Rainey, Steve Mann, Bridget Anderson, Natalie Gilbert, Sean Peters, Ryan Gilbert, Jacob McCann and Cameron Kingsbury.

Neighbors needs more donations for postage to send care packages. Tax deductible checks can be made out to Neighbors International Foundation and mailed to 1146-D Walker Road, Great Falls, VA 22066. Donations may also be made online at www.nifoundation.org.
