A peer support group for survivors of clergy abuse and others affected by the abuse will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m in the downstairs meeting room of the Dolley Madison Library, 1244 Oak Ridge Road, McLean. The 2007 Northern Virginia Senior Olympics will be held Sept. 15-27, marking its 25th anniversary. Participants must be 50 years of age as of Dec. 31, 2007 and reside in one of the sponsoring Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
Among the events offered for competition are track and field, swimming, card games, shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoes, pickleball, basketball, board games, bowling and golf.

The deadline for registration is Saturday, Sept. 1. Registration fee is $10, which includes one event; additional events are $1.
