The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce elected Virginia’s first Hispanic chair of a traditional Chamber of Commerce at its 48th annual meeting July 11. Outgoing chairman Justin Exner of First Financial Mortgage Service passed the gavel to chairman Raul "Danny" Vargas, VARCom Solutions.

Loudoun Habitat for Humanity announces that NeuStar Inc. of Loudoun County has stepped forward by assuming a major leadership role in addressing the critical issue of affordable housing in Loudoun County. NeuStar agreed to become the first corporation in Loudoun County to be a $100,000 "Corporate Dream Builder, Platinum Hammer, Full-House Sponsor" for a Habitat home currently under construction in St. Louis.

The LoudounPrepSports.com Web site has hired industry veteran Michele Weatherly as its new ad manager. Weatherly joins the growing Web site that broke 100,000 page views in May and now has more than 5,000 pages of content aimed at the high-school sports fan in Loudoun County.
