The Dulles Women’s Business Network will be holding their monthly meeting on Friday, Aug. 24, noon-2 p.m. at That’s Amore, 46300 Potomac Run Plaza, #130, Sterling. She will be speaking on “Mixing Business with Charity.” Meredith has lived and worked in the Washington, D.C., metro area for nearly a decade. She holds a BA from a Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Upstate New York and an MA in Organizational Management from George Washington University in Washington D.C., and has worked exclusively in the non-profit sector throughout her career. Digicon Corporation, an IT services and solutions firm, was recently placed 10th in a listing of top voice and data service providers in the

Washington, D.C. region. The listing was ranked by metro-area employees. The annual survey, published in the June 21 issue of the Washington Business Journal, places Digicon among some of the largest and most successful firms in the nation as a commercial provider of VoIP technology. Digicon also ranked among the top 25 for systems integrators in the metro-area. The rankings will be included in the annual Book of Lists.

Guident Technologies of Herndon, recently announced that it has been awarded a subcontract to provide business intelligence and database support services to the U.S Department of Health and Human Services. Guident will provide those services under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract awarded to QSS, Inc. As part of the QSSI team, Guident will provide data/database administration and business intelligence services to HHS’ Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The overall contract is for five years and has a ceiling of $90 million.

TELELINK Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Blue Diamond Award in the Corporate Citizenship category. Russ and Cheryl Corser, TELELINK principals, were presented the award by FCCC Chairman, Gary Nakamoto, at the Chairman’s Luncheon recently.

Hampton Inn recently announced that a new property, the 96 room Hampton Inn & Suites in Herndon, is slated to open late August 2007. All rooms and suites feature 32-inch flat screen HD televisions, high speed wireless Internet, Cloud Nine bed package, and microwave/refrigerators. All complemented by a contemporary décor with rich espresso furnishings and luxurious fabrics. The hotel is owned and operated by Fairbrook Hotels, LLC.
