The Springfield area has a new queen, as Ariel Struhar was named Miss Greater Springfield for 2007 at a Saturday, Feb. 24 ceremony at the Greenspring Village auditorium.
Struhar was selected by pageant judges Angela Yurachek, Allan Williams, Kera Wooten, Michael Starkweather and Dr. Glenn Harmon. Also crowned at the Saturday competition were Miss Greater Springfield Pre-Teen 2007 Taylor Campbell and Miss Greater Springfield 2007 Teen Caitlyn McIntosh.
The next stop for Struhar is a trip to Roanoke in June for the Miss Virginia pageant.
