The new edition of "Inside Loudoun County" features an interview with Loudoun County Administrator Kirby M. Bowers and a preview of the new Claude Moore Recreation Center.

"Inside Loudoun County" is a 30-minute cable television program airing Mondays and Fridays, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., on Government Channel 2. The show is hosted by Nancy McCormick of the Loudoun County Office of Public Information and is produced by Comcast.

sThe Heritage Farm Museum announces "Model Tractors and Farm Equipment: Objects from The Philip Marshall Collection" a temporary exhibit on view through Jan. 28.

The collection represents more than 30 years of collecting and encompasses more than 50 model and toy tractors, combines, plows and other farm implements. These are toys and replicas modeled on actual farm equipment from top manufacturers such as John Deere, Allis Chalmers, International Harvester, Case and Ford. The museum is located off Route 28 and Route 7 in Claude Moore Park, Sterling. Tickets: adults, $5; children, $3; seniors $4.

LoudounÕs leading artists, as well as new talent from the area, will display their original paintings, drawings, sculpture and ceramic art at Gallery 222 during the holiday season.

Loudoun County Public Schools Student Art Exhibit hosted by The George Washington University Virginia Campus, through Jan. 25. The winter exhibit features two-dimensional, mixed-media works by 75 LCPS students from Emerick Elementary School, Hamilton Elementary School, Harmony Intermediate School and Loudoun Valley High School. Gallery hours 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Mondays-Fridays, The George Washington University Virginia Campus, Gallery Lounge 20101 Academic Way, Ashburn. The reception is free and open to the public.

Winter reading program, Ashburn Library, through Feb. 24. Includes weekly prizes and free books. Stop by the information desk to sign up. Both teen and adults are invited to participate. Recommended for adults and teens ages 12-18.

The Loudoun MuseumÕs exhibit, "Nighty Night, Loudoun" displays bedtime and bedchamber artifacts from the museumÕs collections. These objects, some of which are on display for the first time, include a mid-19th century King SolomonÕs Temple Pattern quilt, womenÕs night wear from the late 19th and an early 20th century and a manÕs nightshirt made from feed sacks. Guided Nature or History Hikes for all ages at Claude Moore Park, 21544 Old Vestals Gap Road, Sterling. Nature hikes, Frogshackle Cabin Nature Center, history hikes and special request programs for school groups, scouts, community organizations, adults and families are available on a variety of topics throughout the year. Programs designed to foster an appreciation of Loudoun County's natural and cultural resources in a fun and informative way. Cost is $3.50 per person for a group tour, with a minimum charge of $35.
