Some of the county events and activities planned for 2007 include:
* Weekly releases from the Loudoun County Office of Public Information highlighting landmark events in the county government over its 250-year history.
* A day-long celebration Saturday, May 19, including an "East Meets West Walk" on the W & OD Trail in the morning and a celebration at the historic Loudoun County Courthouse in the afternoon.
* Sale of 250th Anniversary merchandise at the Loudoun County Store.
* A "Rare Breeds & Seeds" exhibit at the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum in October.
* An archeological dig at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve, also in October.
